and implement the company’s commercial strategy in order
to achieve sales and profitability objectives. He is responsible for the
development of turnover in the industrial or
industrial services sectors.

Missions / Responsibilities / Activities
Development of the commercial strategy : He develops the commercial strategy according to the company’s objectives (growth in turnover, acquisition of new customers, loyalty, etc.).
Sales Team Management : He recruits, trains, motivates and supervises salespeople. He ensures that his team respects the company’s sales objectives and sales procedures.
Customer Portfolio Management : The sales manager ensures that relationships with existing customers are maintained and new ones are acquired. He ensures customer satisfaction and meets their needs.
Market analysis : It carries out competitive intelligence and analyzes market trends to adapt the commercial strategy and maximize opportunities.
Sales Performance Monitoring : Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the results of sales actions and adjusts the strategy if necessary.
Sales negotiation and closing : He participates in commercial negotiations with key customers and is involved in the finalization of contracts.
Coordination with other departments : He works closely with the marketing, finance, and product teams to optimize offers and ensure the proper implementation of the commercial strategy.
Reporting to management : Reports regularly on the progress of the business strategy to management, providing reports on results, projections and actions to be implemented .
Job Requirements
1. Commercial and strategic skills:
Mastery of sales techniques: Ability to apply effective sales methods (prospecting, negotiation, closing) and to manage a client portfolio.
Market and competitive knowledge: Skill in market analysis to identify trends, anticipate customer needs and position the offer competitively .
Customer Relationship Management: Ability to maintain strong relationships with existing customers and acquire new ones. Ability to customize offers according to customer needs.
Sales Strategy Development: Ability to design and implement strategies to achieve sales objectives, adjusting actions based on results.
2. Managerial and organizational skills:Leadership : Ability to motivate, lead and guide a sales team. A good sales manager knows how to inspire his team to achieve its goals.
Performance Management: Tracking team performance, evaluating results, and making decisions to improve business performance.
Planning and Time Management: Ability to organize business activities, manage priorities and ensure that objectives are achieved within the allotted time frame.
Training and coaching: Skills to train, advise and support salespeople in developing their skills.
3. Personal qualities:Sense of initiative: Be proactive in seeking new business opportunities.
Rigor and responsiveness: Demonstrate precision in the execution of tasks and great responsiveness to market developments or customer demands.
Results Orientation: Have a strong motivation to achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.
